Sign up for a 45-hour salesperson qualifying education course at a real estate school approved by the Department of State, you can finish the course as quickly as one week, cost varies from school to school, but starts at about $250.
You can take the exam at the Department of State at anytime during the process. You can expect your exam results from the Department of State in less than a week after testing.
You will need to take a test at your real estate school and receive a certificate from your school stating you have passed the test and completed the 45-hour qualifying course.
Once you have completed your training, passed your exams, and received your results you submit to the DOS the certificate from your school with school test results, your application, your pass slip from the DOS, and a fee of $50. You will need a sponsoring broker to sign your application - this is where we come in.
